Advances in 3-Dimensional Tissue Engineering Beyond the Orthopedic Age Barrier for Enhanced Long Term Facial Cosmetic Results

Dr. Williams will present new breakthroughs and understanding in tissue engineering that give rise to alternatives to orthognathic surgery and dental extractions. Through the use of growth forecasting he will explain how he treats to the adult face, building smiles that patients grow into rather than treating to the child's face which often creates a smile which is midface deficient for the emerging adult. He will reveal the keys to improved facial esthetics and how the clinician can blend both science and art for the long term cosmetic benefit of the patient. Dr. Williams has recently been awarded a "Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement" by the UCLA Orthodontic

Alumni Association and this material is of a very timely nature. You will learn:

  • nonsurgical alternatives for adult patients
  • early treatment orthopedics for nonsurgical and nonextraction alternatives
  • keys to facial beauty
  • relationship of beauty and health
  • importance of craniofacial symmetry and balance
  • bone alteration without surgical assistance at any age
